 Went downtown to enjoy myself on 9th and Broadway and talk to some of the fellas when I was rudely interrupted by a street evangelist. I was nice once, twice and then I decided to get off of my phone call and shut it down.
The fella's in the crowd was like "You are messing with the wrong guy!" He knows his stuff.
I simply asked him a series of questions, and then shared my Faith with him, and then he laughed at me and told me, and everyone else in the crowd that they were going to hell. |

 So right now I am just absorbing that a young man that I talk to a least every few weeks, just passed on to the next world,Tevin Nelson.
Please feel free to call (573) 443-8255 on Lokal Vokalz 89.5 FM, on the radio this Saturday from 2-4pm and share your last respects. I will also do a moment of silence for him at 3pm.
He was a kind soul, a person who was trying to live a good life, and he had a good heart. His smile was genuine, and his demeanor was slunknasty. He was dedicated to family and focused on his legacy.

 I know that alot of you are dealing with the same emotions that I am.
Osama Bin Laden is dead!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you feel that it was the right thing to do?
No matter what you feel, we ALL elected a man, and it is his job to make those decisions. It was a tough decision.
I also know that after the decision, the President, who is a man who is aware of the digital world, and who is also very aware of social media and our thoughts, is listening to our response.
Right after walking down the corridor to announce this to the world, he went into the rooms of his daughters to explain why he made this decision and to prepare them for the backlash, good or bad. |

Having the people revolt has always been a fear of the Founders of our country, and all other nations. Making the people mad enough to come out of their homes to not only force their displeasure, but also pick up the nearest rock, bottle, or pitchfork, in the process. This is the reason that the middle class was created. The rich wanted a buffer and wanted the Uncle Tom, Dick or Harriet to be killed first, to give them time to make their getaway. The troubling thing is that people usually only get upset enough to do the type of damage and demolition that is happening in Egypt, when they lack the basics needs of food, shelter and clothing. |

This is one of the main questions of our time. The answer is both.  Their was a small band of Christians, that called themselves Rastafarians, and they believe that the Return of Christ happened and manifested in the former Emperor of Ethiopia, Halle Sallasie I. They have their hair locked up so that they stay whole. There are other religious rituals as well and all of them are based on acquiring the perfections of God and enhancing their inner spirituality. There are other faiths and walks as well where the hair is connected with spirituality such as the Hindu's, Native-American Indian, and African and Australian bush tribes. |

 When I started my week, I was really thinking about how to empower Black youth and men and how to change their situation in America, but then I asked myself a question. If they wont be lead, by someone who is leading, then who is qualified to lead? I hope that person will please stand up. The only man that I feel that is qualified to lead me, as a citizen of the United States of America is the Commander in Chief and the President Barack Obama. Not just because of his titles, but because of his person. |

This day and age that we live in is glorious. The past, ensures that we appreciate today. So many sacrifices made, that it is impossible to list them all, but we better try, when you are in the public eye. It takes so many people to achieve success and nowadays there is no substitute for a good team, an excellent vision, and superb talent. We have alot of that other as well, but vanity and vice will always sell..... but the thing is, when the people start to mature, and when life really starts to matter, frankly when we stop popping out kids, and having them look up to US, we start to change our tune to something that is more meaningful. |
