So today is the well celebrated 4/20! Click here for the history!  That means that people from all over the world will get baked and celebrate like there is no tomorrow. Most of them wont remember tomorrow. I must say that I am a little jealous. I at one time would keep a slight buzz continously, and was a functioning weedaholic. Do you fall in this category or know someone that does as well? Congrats! It is a skill. I am now among the pure, meaning that I put stuff in my body that is not natural. And that is where the argument starts, right.

Most people have no idea what the affects of marijuana are. The brain on drugs campaign didnt do anything to stop the process. It sold alot of eggs though.  I am not trying to ruin your high. I would never try to do that. On the contrary, I am trying to purify your high. Check out the affects on your body as you smoke and understand it more completely and then someday when you attempt to stop smoking for whatever reason, you will remember this information. 1st effect: Your heart rate is going to increase and you will become more paranoid and nervous, and start giggling. 2nd effect: You wont remember much of what you say and do and will keep saying "What did you say" and popular catch phrases and slogans. 3rd effect: Your decision making skills and ability to use reason and logic will be impaired greatly and even though you will try to focus on the task at hand, it will be difficult, except if somebody skipped you with the blunt or the joint. 4th effect: You will become an addict for this reason. When your high comes down you will experience depression and a feeling of being lost so this is normally cured with the action called "Wake and Bake" which puts you right back into the experience and in turn wrestles control from your mind. 5th effect: Most people dont pay attention to the physical aspect of smoking weed and admit that it is a starter drug and leads to the ease to do most anything offered to you. Some people who are generational smokers can fight the temptation, as well as the drug dealers, since they know the affects of crack, heroin and meth on their tricks, they will avoid those hard drugs at all costs, to not lose money and to not go down the same road. Smoking one joint is the same as smoking a pack of cigarettes and smoking a blunt, inside of a cigar is even worse, especially if it is done repeatedly. 6th affect: The effect on the spirit is even worse. The cold and claminess is not a physical symptom only, it is the fact that your spirit is paralyzed and frozen. Alot of people like to share wisdom when they are high or talk about deep topics. The fact is that these virtues and knowledge is trying to escape from their minds to find better homes and brains because it is dangerous to stay in the body of someone who is totally baked. 7th effect: The last point that I will share is the affect on the soul of the individual. Each man consist of body, spirit and soul. The body lasts about 120 if we are blessed, the spirit animates our body and connects the body to the soul, and our soul is and always will continue to be in the presence of God. When we pray, we travel this path to our soul, in order to commune with our Creator, and the soul also houses our intellect, our vision, and the fruit of this life, which are our virtues. When we smoke weed, the soul becomes petrified. Petrified 1. To cause to become stiff or stonelike; deaden. 2. To stun or paralyze with terror; daze. This is what we do to our bodies, our spirits and our souls. I dont blame you. This world is fucked up. I feel you. Smoke one for me on this 4/20/2011 celebration. Whenever you make the attempt to fight this battle, Paladon is here, as an example for you to know that it is possible to change and be constant. That is is possible to be pure. There is a secret that I will share with you. All drugs are substitutes for the effect of the HOLY SPIRIT! This is the high that never goes down. Ya'Baha'ul'Abha!!!!! You get this by giving up your will to God, and to teach His cause. In yet another Tablet, ‘Abdu’l-Bahá has written: Regarding hashish you have pointed out that some Persians have become habituated to its use. Gracious God! This is the worst of all intoxicants, and its prohibition is explicitly revealed. Its use causeth the disintegration of thought and the complete torpor of the soul. How could anyone seek the fruit of the infernal tree, and by partaking of it, be led to exemplify the qualities of a monster? How could one use this forbidden drug, and thus deprive himself of the blessings of the All-Merciful? Alcohol consumeth the mind and causeth man to commit acts of absurdity, but this opium, this foul fruit of the infernal tree, and this wicked hashish extinguish the mind, freeze the spirit, petrify the soul, waste the body and leave man frustrated and lost. It should be noted that the above prohibition against taking certain classes of drugs does not forbid their use when prescribed by qualified physicians as part of a medical treatment. |
